Cold Sober Coco, aka Courtney Crutcher, is a 34 year old, cat lady/blogger that lives and works in Orange County, California. She is a recovering alcoholic/addict. In November of 2015 she left family, friends and a job behind in Yakima, WA and traveled to southern California in order to attend a Chemical Dependency Treatment Center.
Now, being over two years clean and sober, she has been itching to tell her story and to promote awareness of the harsh realities of alcoholism and drug addiction. She wants to change how people perceive this disease, one person at a time. She pays special attention to (talks a lot about) the growing opioid and heroin epidemic across the country. The reason for this is that she herself, was chemically dependent on prescription main medication.
By day she is a House Manager at a treatment center in Dana Point, California but her eventual plans are to continue her education to become a Chemical Dependency Counselor as well as an Interventionist.
